Boehringer Ingelheim Case Study

Boehringer Ingelheim's IS systems were letting them down. Business-critical data took too long to access, and there were too many sources for financial analysis to be accurate enough to trust. The organisation needed to upgrade its existing ERP system, introduce a business intelligence solution to provide a central source for business data analysis and to transition a non-standard application they had developed in-house, to a best-practice software that is easy to maintain and integrated.

Solution PMSquare helped Boehringer Ingelheim design, implement and trial the new environment in Australia using IBM® Cognos® v8.4 in conjunction with its in-house developed applications to support its logistics, reporting and forecasting operations.
